[csc_newsline] WCPE Project Status

Its Spring, and the WCPE Spring Membership Drive get underway this
week.  The "silent pledge" phase has cut two days from the drive, so the
active part starts tomorrow, rather than Monday.

We have already received contributions for our WCPE project, and hope to
continue the Public Service Announcements (PSAs) we earned for the past
year.  The deal is that our consolidated gift to WCPE entitles us to the
"premium" of a year's worth of weekly PSAs for a $1000 contribution. 
Last year we raised over $2000, which got us double PSAs!  We hope to
duplicate that feat this year.  At this point we have collected over
$800, which gets us to the 40% mark for this goal.

The rehearsal schedule this Spring has complicated things somewhat,
since many of you are sitting out the rest of the season or won't start
attending until after the project will wind up.  So there are several
ways to get your check in to us.

    1. Bring it to rehearsal, and give it to me or one of the CSC Board
    members
    2. Mail it to me at my home

Remember, the check should be payable to WCPE Radio, and in the memo
line put "CSC Project".  If you prefer to donate cash anonymously, you
may hand it over to me or another of the board members at a rehearsal.
