QUOTES FROM REHEARSAL!

- “Wow it’s crowded – can’t swing a dead cat without hitting a
singer”

- “Lip trills – put up your rain guard if needed to protect the
people in front of you”

- “Note the high schoolers’ Prompt Arrival!”

- “That was glorious, the roof lifted off (in a good way)”

- “140 singers; I need 280 eyeballs”

- “I’m gonna follow the spirit in the room Saturday (re: tempo)”

- “The high schoolers will leave the stage in a Thespian whisp of
delicate motion… (especially the basses)”

- “The Hope of Lurving”

- “If all others have stopped singing you probably should also stop”

- “You’ll be swooned by their singing [Megan, Wes] but not so
swooned that you miss your entrance”

- “Wes, let fly with the joy from the back corner”

And my personal fave of the night:

- “Concert Singers, you are all odds”
