[New_csc_newsline] The Concert Singers of Cary Choral Notes – yay fall equinox!

Hara kō'ī kivēṁ hai? (translates very loosely to "Hello, PLEASE read
all the way to the bottom!!")



Our next rehearsal is Mon Sep 30, 7:30-9:30pm at the Cary Arts Center
(Marcus Dry room).

Chair setting before rehs, please help occasionally (show up about 7pm).



Attached is the latest seating chart (used last Mon).



Please be careful not to talk/whisper much during reh, it’s a common cause
of people not hearing e.g. the measure we are starting at, etc… also,
questions should whenever possible be delayed until break, for section
leaders or others… finally try hard not to arrive late (this includes after
breaks) or leave early, it is disruptive.


You should not miss more than 20% of rehs (not including the required one
on concert weekend) for any given project. For Oct (7 rehs), that means no
more than 2 misses. If you miss more, your section leader and Nathan will
get with you about whether you can still participate.

If you wondered about the seating chart designation next to your name,
‘A1m’ e.g. breaks down thusly:

-    ‘A’ is for your SATB section

-    ‘1’ is for whether you are e.g. an Alto 1 or an Alto 2

-    ‘m’ is either ‘t’ ‘m’ or ‘b’, for top middle or bottom, used for
divisi within your sub-section :-)
