SHIFT!




WHO?



The Raleigh Jaycees have been running the Turkey Shoot game for many years.
They need help and we need money to balance our budget. The Jaycees will
provide everything to run the game so there is no financial commitment for
the Concert Singers. They just need our time. There will ALWAYS be an
experienced Jaycee member at the Shoot during hours of operation.




WHAT?



Players buy a target for an opportunity to shoot a bullseye. A limited
number of people will participate in each shoot and the person who comes
closest to hitting a bullseye wins a frozen turkey. There are a lot of fair
goers who really like this game.

Jobs include:



- Safety Captain: in charge of operations inside the building



- Shell Worker: in charge of shotgun shells; passing out and picking up



- Target Workers: take targets down and put targets up after each round



- Barker: attracts patrons, directs crowds outside, hands out prizes



- Sales: selling targets in front of building




WHEN?



The Fair runs from October 17 – 27. The Concert Singers will be needed for
the times indicated in the signup web page.




WHERE?



The Turkey Shoot tent is near the NC State ice cream stand (yum!).
Directions to the tent will be provided.  There are many parking options at
the NC State Fair (please check on website) with shuttles running most, if
not all, of the time.

Rachael Lubbers (contact info below) will assist with this process at
rehearsals if necessary. There will be lots of jobs for people of all
abilities. There are both active and (rather) sedentary jobs to be filled.
Training will be included.  Sign them up and bring friends and family with
you to help out as well!
