Choral Notes for the week of 10/27/14

 

 

Reminder- Monday night, 10/27, rehearsal schedule:

 

7:00pm - 7:50pm = Sonic Boom Choir - M-10

7:45pm - 8:45pm = SATB Symphonic Choir - Marcus Dry

8:50pm - 9:30pm = Women only - Marcus Dry

 

 

THE RACE IS ON!!! 

 

Welcome to the "Annual CSC Fund Drive Derby"! This is the yearly event where
everyone can join in and back their favorite for the good of All, aka: The
Concert Singers of Cary! No contribution is too small or too large! It's a
short race, so please, "place your bets" either in person at rehearsal or
through the mail. Cash, or checks (made out to "The Concert Singers of
Cary") will be gratefully accepted. The four favorites in this race are:
Simple-Old-Parts-Range-And-Notes-Of-Songs = came in dead-last last year, but
has been training and is showing promise!: A-Little-Too-O'le-Southern = last
year's cliff-hanger winner!; Time-Everyone-Notices-Our-Real-Strengths =
didn't quite go all out last year, is rumored to have a new running plan;
Bad-About-Sitting-Still-Enough-Slothiness = took a quick lead last year, but
became over confident and slacked off too early - is eager to redeem last
year's loss. Your contributions will be the deciding factor in this "race"
so keep the support coming ..  "AND THEY ARE OFF!!" (my bet's on
Simple-Old-Parts-Range-And-Notes-Of-Songs :) )

 

 

We still need Ushers

 

Please note:  volunteers are still needed to usher for the Sat. Dec. 13th
and a few for Sun. Dec. 14th Holiday Pops Concerts. Please contact Jenn at
jenn.e.myers at gmail.com <mailto:jenn.e.myers at gmail.com>  if you know of any
responsible person who would enjoy the concert, for free, while also helping
out as an usher.

 

 

Holiday Pops rehearsals

 

Please note: The first Holiday Pops rehearsal and distribution of music will
be on November 17th at 7:30pm in Marcus Dry.
