[csc_newsline] Annual Fund Drive -- update

I was asked to post this revised version of our annual fund appeal 
letter by our board president, Michelle Bergeron. Help us surpass last 
year's contributions!

*Thank you so much, Singers!*

It is time to again _express our deep appreciation for the generosity 
you extended_ by donating to our annual pledge campaign last fall. _More 
than 2/3_ of us pitched in with _over $6700_! _This result did us all 
proud and strengthened our position in competing for grant funds and 
outside donations_.

So, please know that your pledges were an important part of what made 
last season possible and strong and _its benefit was multiplied_ by the 
impact it transmitted when we sought support from outside of our group.

*Here's the Catch-It's time again! Why? Because we need us.*

Like almost all arts organizations, we cannot exist without voluntary 
financial contributions.

Our members' most important contributions are the dedication, talent and 
fellowship that make our organization so special and produce the 
wonderful music we share with our audience, but your willingness to go 
the extra mile beyond that commitment and dues, music costs and other 
expense is particularly gratifying and heartwarming - and essential!
