Choral Notes for:  Saturday - Time and Space

 

A Message from Larry:

 

Dear Chorus,

 

Thank you for a good and productive rehearsal Wednesday evening. The time
was well spent. Speaking of time, something you may not know is that it
costs us $23/minute that we use the orchestra. I try to use every minute and
not waste any time by repeating myself because I was not heard or was
misunderstood. Please do not talk once you are on stage; the sound really
carries and is a distraction to the orchestra members as well as other
singers. We still have some work to do and I'm sure you all picked up on
spots that still need some fine tuning. I will be sending out a separate
email addressing some of those spots; please check you emails before
tomorrow's rehearsal.

I want to apologize for the seating confusion; we will have those resolved
by Saturday. Since our rehearsal Saturday ends at 5:30, I would like to
strongly suggest you either pack a dinner or be sure to have made
reservations at a restaurant that is close to the CAC so you can be back for
the 7:00pm call time (performance should run, total, 90 minutes.)

Saturday rehearsal schedule: please note

 

2:45pm - 5:30pm = on stage

7:00pm = Call

7:30pm = Performance

 

Refer to your Choral Notes for week beginning 11/10/14 for Concert attire,
etc. information.

 

Choral Notes for:  Monday, November 17th - Holiday Pops rehearsals begin

 

Time and location

 

7:00pm = pick up music

7:30pm - 9:30pm = SATB rehearsal in Marcus Dry

 

Need - hand out music on Monday

 

We need eight volunteers to help hand out the Holiday Pops music on Monday -
if you can be there close to 6:30pm, that would be great! Please let me know
