Choral Notes for Wednesday 11/12 rehearsal

 

A Message from Larry:

 

Dear Choir,

I want to let you know that I think we are very close to being ready to
putting  on a really wonderful concert this Saturday and that all of your
hard work is showing serious signs of paying off! Don't forget to hydrate,
hydrate, hydrate, get a good night's sleep, and spread the word about your
concert! In checking this morning, I saw that we have 73 advance tickets
sold - we are aiming for a full crowd; the week is young!

I'm looking forward to Wednesday night's rehearsal and hope you are too.

Again, thank you for putting in the time.

Don't forget to have fun!

Please Note: Wednesday night rehearsal

 

*       Time - start = 7:00pm - rehearsal begins promptly; on stage in seats

*       Time - end = 9:45pm - at the latest - orchestra leaves at 9:30pm;
chorus then does quick run through of entering/exiting logistics

*       No risers, only chairs, will be on stage for the Wednesday rehearsal
(chairs will already be in place; no set up needed on our part)

*       Section leaders will tell you where you are to sit; please see them
as soon as you/they arrive

*       No talking at any time when on stage 

*       This is the first time out for the orchestra - Larry may spend more
time than usual giving instructions - (see previous line above)

*       Use your concert folders - music order will not be the same as the
concert order - quiet page turns!

*       Dress comfortably; bring water

 

Final reminders for the Saturday rehearsal and concert, plus the schedule
for next Monday, will go out in a Thursday evening Choral Notes - please
check your emails Friday morning.
