*Dear Choir,*
**
*The North Carolina Symphony has approached us yet again! They have added a
concert titled "Video Game Live" for June 7th and have asked if we
could provide a choral group of no more than 40 singers. If you have not
already been contacted by me by e-mail within the last day or two and are
interested in being a part of this concert, please contact me by Monday,
April 22nd - I may have a few openings available (we are limited by the
space.) Also, please note that this concert will not be instead of any of
our currently scheduled concerts and that you will be expected to keep your
previous commitments in addition to this new program.*
*The attachment has the "Video Game Live" rehearsal schedule on it for your
information.*

*These programs are offering us great opportunities for exposure to
audiences who STILL may not have heard of us!*

*Concert and rehearsal schedule*
**
Please be sure to read the attachment (you may need to scroll down to the
bottom of the page.) The rehearsals and concert dates are color coded;
these same dates can be found on the web site's calendar but without being
color coded.


*Concert Attire for May 11th - Gershwin*
**
This is at Koka Booth which is outdoors. Please go to the Guidelines and
Ground Rules section on the website and note the "Outdoor Concert Attire".
For the women: the "mandatory" black skirt policy will be in effect as
of this coming Fall; until then, the long black skirt you have been wearing
up to now is acceptable. No more long, black pants however, long black
skirts *only*.

If you are interested in finding out why we have to pay for our music
and concert attire in addition to paying dues, just how much it costs CSC
to rent Marcus Dry Room every Monday night (no, it is not free) or how much
it costs CSC every time we step onto the stage in the CAC (no, they don't
pay us!) or why we are NOT guaranteed a permanent "home" at the CAC.....
then please come to the upcoming Annual Board Report to the Membership
- Question and Answer Meeting on May 14th in Marcus Dry at 7:30. You will
NOT be bored.
