*Choral Notes for the week of 11/12*

**
*November 18th and December 8th Holiday Pops performances - Needed: 6-7
volunteers as ushers per event! *
**
We need 6-7 responsible, mature (teenagers), responsible volunteers
(teenagers and adults) for our upcoming concerts. Please contact
jenn.e.myers at gmail.com if you or anyone you know, are interested in helping
out The Concert Singers of Cary by being an usher. If you usher at the
performances, you:

   - will receive FREE admission!
   - must be at the CAC one hour prior to show time (for training and to
   receive show assignments)
   - must be able to stay through at least the intermission
   - are requested to wear business-casual attire

When contacting Jenn, make sure to:

   - include the volunteer's name, e-mail address and/or phone number
   - specify at which performance(s) the volunteer is willing to usher -
   November 18th 3:00pm, December 8th - either/or both 3:00pm or 8pm shows

Jenn will assign volunteers by order of response and availability.


*IN ADDITION..........*

We need a volunteer who is comfortable using Microsoft PowerPoint to manage
projecting the slides of artwork being used in the November 18th program
(perhaps a spouse who is planning on coming anyway?) These are slides of
artwork which illustrate the pieces we are performing during the concert
.... ergo "Musical Landscapes"... get it? This person needs to be VERY
responsible as the images need to transition smoothly from one piece to the
next to enhance the effect. "Glitches" could really detract from the
performance! This person would need to attend the November 17th rehearsal
to be able to practice the order in which the pieces are appearing. Again,
please respond a.s.a.p. to jenn.e.myers at gmail.com with the name and contact
information. To calm Jenn's fears, please let her know in your e-mail that
the volunteer is:

   - available for BOTH Nov. 17 and 18, and
   - proficient enough with the technology to keep things running smoothly

This volunteer will receive free admission as thanks for their
*greatly*appreciated help!


*REMINDERS:*
**

   - Monday night, 11/12, rehearsal* location*: we are at St. Paul's
   Episcopal Church in the sanctuary at 7:30. Please plan on staying over by
   about 10-15 minutes.
   - Saturday, 11/17, at CAC on stage - at 6:00pm; on risers 6:30pm -
   9:00pm.
   - *Gentlemen*: concert attire for November 18th - tuxes, white shirt,
   black socks, black tie.
   - *Ladies*: concert attire for November 18th - newly ordered top, a long
   black skirt (no dress pants), black hose, black dress shoes, stud earrings
   only( no necklaces.)
   - *SATB*: no scented products during rehearsal or concert. Black
   folders for concert.
