Dear Singers,



 Welcome All! We begin our Pops projects for Fall at tonight’s
rehearsal! *Please
note the information below:*

1.       If you have not already paid, the music fee for both projects
(Holiday Pops with the North Carolina Symphony and Heart of Cary Holidays)
is $10.00; this will be collected tonight.

2.       The rehearsals and performance schedules are linked together as one
project.

3.       The music packet for the Holiday Pops is listed below. The complete
list of music, including what is still pending, is listed so that you can
track any copies you may still be missing.

4.       If this is your *first* concert for the season and you have
*not*registered yet, your registration fee will be collected tonight
as well.

*Music Packet*

1.        Harris: “Hark the Herald Angels Sing”- *included in packet*

2.        Rutter: Shepherd’s Pipe Carol – on order…will be available on
10-17

3.        Chase: Christmas Favorites Sing Along – word sheet only, will be
distributed when received from the symphony

4.        Kern: Angels We Have Heard on High – *included in the packet*

5.       Niles/Rutter: I Wonder as I Wander – Chamber Choir only…will be
distributed separately

6.        Dossett/Grad: The Gathering – *included in the packet* but may be
Chamber Choir only

7.        Handel: Amen Chorus from Messiah

8.       Newberry.Earhardt: “On this Christmas Day”- pending , upon
completion by the arranger.

9.        Handel: Hallelujah Chorus from Messiah – not included. We will get
a head count as to who does not own a copy.



*The packet for Heart of Cary Holidays is included in the music fee but will
be distributed separately in a couple of weeks.*

*Note*:  If you have not signed up to have a “re-shoot” of your picture for
the Concert Singers Directory, please see me at today’s break and I will put
you on the list for October 17th.

I f you have any additional questions, please check with your section
leader.
