[csc_newsline] Eid Festival schedule

Dear Singers,

 

Thanks for an excellent rehearsal tonight. Collaborations always carry some
level of uncertainly, a leap of faith so to speak. Your openness to
different musical ideas led to new discoveries in music making that connect
people in a way that few things besides music can.

 

I'm also writing to review the schedule for tomorrow. It is as follows:

 

5:00 - meet behind the stage, facing the lake at Koka Booth wearing informal
black. If you need a coat or sweater, bring something black or at least
dark. I want us to look good but I don't want anyone freezing. You can enter
through the service entrance. If you are wearing black and carrying a folder
they will let you in.

 

5:15 - 5:30 - We will walk on stage where the step risers are preset (We are
on stage and NOT in the loft). I believe that there are about five people
who need chairs who have trouble standing. We will enter as formally as
possible, but expect that we will need a couple of minutes once on stage to
shift people around. We will do our best to keep everyone in the same four
rows that we have been rehearsing in.

 

5:30 - 6:30 - concert (see order from previous email)

 

7:30ish - Finale - We Sing Wherever You Are

 

8:00 - Festival ends

 

Nadeem has encouraged us to come earlier to hear the other events so please
do so if you wish.
