Hello everyone,

 

I thought that you should know that we had a fabulous crew to transport
risers for tonight's concert. Many thanks to Sean Meyers, Nancy McLaughlin,
Ellen Schloemer, Ingrid Speakman and Coleman Poag who helped me accomplish
this. Coleman was especially helpful as he was well trained in the
intricacies of choral risers.

 

We are allowed to leave them in place tonight after the concert and pick
them up on Tuesday morning. Coleman has again agreed to provide transport
and Liz Avery has agreed to drive as well. I will need three more people who
are available to come to the Armory at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday and load the
risers for transport the short distance to Durham School of the Arts. We
should be finished no later than 1:00. There is some lifting involved but
that becomes less of a factor if we have 6 people total. More hands lighten
the load.
