Dear Choir,

 

A couple of housekeeping items before rehearsal tonight. 

 

If you have a copy of America the Beautiful that we have used for a number
of years, bring it with you to rehearsal. It is the Carmen Dragon
arrangement with two verses. Another version by Dragon that is exactly the
same but has only one verse. Longer term members from earlier than July 2008
should have both copies so bring the one with two verses. I will have some
additional copies for the new folks but no extra so please bring this with
you.

 

We will also begin work on the opening hymn to the 1812 Overture. Many of
you picked up a copy on your way out so bring it with you. Emiko will have
additional copies for those that need them.

 

Shannon has asked me to let you know that consignment tickets to American
Celebration will be on sale beginning tonight. You can also get them through
Ticket Master but many folks like to avoid the fees with that which is why
we have them.

 

Last but not least, The Cary Children's Concert Choir (C4) and Cary Youth
Chorale will be presenting their concert this Friday night May, 7th at 7:00
p.m. at Greenwood Forest Baptist Church. Admission is free. Please support
the efforts of the children with your presence! Here is a link to the poster
if you can use it to spread the word!
