Our thirteenth symphonic choir rehearsal of 2023 is on Monday Apr 24,
7:30-9:30pm at Westwood Baptist Church, the site of the concert: 200
Westhigh St, Cary, NC 27513. We need some of you to come early (7pm)
to help us set up the 'stage'. During the break the CSC Board will
hold elections for the 2023-25 term. The slate of candidates will be
presented to the singing membership prior to voting, but additional
nominations may also be presented from the floor. The process usually
takes only a few minutes. Please contact Megan Brachtl, CSC Board
chair, with any questions (megan.brachtl at gmail.com).

Raffle results - see the attached PDF to see if you won! Sue Chaploney will
have the prizes at rehearsal next Monday for wieners to pick up. Congrats
to all the winners, and to CSC for having such generous members.

Please save the date for a post-season get-together/final fundraiser for
the fiscal year at Goodberry's on Kildaire Farm Road on May 1. More details
to follow!

Cary’s annual Spring Daze will be 9-5pm on Apr 29. I have created a
signupgenius for volunteers, please check it out and sign up if you
can! Only TWO of you so far have! It’s a fun time advocating for an
organization we all love, in the shady trees at Bond Park. Maybe we
can encourage a few passersby to attend our concert THAT EVENING! It's
also a way to give back to the Town of Cary, our VERY important
supporter.

For the 4/29 LIGHT concert we’ll need 2 setup crews (8-10 people): loading
in music stands, moving chairs, moving the church's instruments, PA set up.
Board member Stacy Hanna is our logistics point person, her contact info:

1. Set up on Friday starting around 5 pm (our ‘dress’ reh is Fri 4/28
6:45-10:30pm). Could use a pickup or big SUV to help transport music stands.

2. Put back on Saturday after the concert, return stands.

So far my list includes myself, Stacie Howard, Kay Kaufman and Josh
Johnstone. Please contact me or Stacy if you or a patron can help.
