Our tenth symphonic choir rehearsal of 2023 is on Monday Apr 3,
7:30-9:30pm at Greenwood Forest Baptist Church (110 SE Maynard Rd,
Cary).

Upcoming rehearsal order will be:

Apr 3: Music of Light in the 60 minutes, then SKIT-and-break, then
Holst in the last 45 minutes

Apr 10: Music of Light - TENOR/BASS ONLY

Apr 17 on: Music of Light

A new message from Sue Chaploney:

Hi Singers,

This Monday is the day you have all been waiting for. We will perform our
Annual Pledge Drive Skit. There will be laughs, thrills and a Big Bad Wolf.

Remember our Pledge Drive goal this year is $7,000. Give an amount that is
meaningful to you so that we can reach this goal. We need 100%
participation from the Singers. Grant applications like hearing that
members are supporting their own organization.

Then there are the valuable prizes. Gift cards from Food Lion, Lowe's and
Harris Teeter. Coupons for a free pizza from Papa Murphy's. You will even
have a chance to win a bag of groceries from Trader Joe's. But does it get
more exciting than the possibility of winning a $50 gift card from
Goodberry's Custard? The Raffle drawing will be held on 4/17/23 so you must
make a donation before then to have a chance to win.

You can give via check or cash at rehearsals. Or you can go to the Concert
Singers' website and donate there. If you do, be sure to tell Sue Chaploney
at schaploney at hotmail.com that you have donated.  She will enter you in
this exciting Drawing!!!

Thank you! Remember it is up to us to keep the Concert Singers singing.

Cary’s annual Spring Daze will be 9-5pm on Apr 29. I have created a
signupgenius for volunteers, please check it out and sign up if you
can! It’s a fun time advocating for an organization we all love, in
the shady trees at Bond Park. Maybe we can encourage a few passersby
to attend our concert THAT EVENING!

Holst singers: Attached is the latest ‘Holst parts’ PDF, please let
Nathan know if you have any concerns about where your name is (or
isn’t) showing up :)

Also attached is the latest Music of Light seating chart, and a 'Latin
pronunciation' guide: why not look it over? :)

Our Exec Dir Laura is ready to start filling front-of-house volunteer
slots for the 4/29 7:30pm Music of Light concert. We will need 7
volunteers: 2 ticket sales and 5 ushers/ program passers and survey
collectors. Arrival time is 6:20. Free seats for volunteers. If you or
