Our ninth symphonic choir rehearsal of 2023 is on Monday Mar 27,
7:30-9:30pm at Greenwood Forest Baptist Church (110 SE Maynard Rd,
Cary).

Upcoming rehearsal order will be:

March 27: Music of Light in the 90 minutes, Holst in the last 30 minutes

Apr 3: Music of Light (with possibility of some additional Holst reh
being added)

Apr 10 on: Music of Light

Hello Singers,

On Monday, March 24, the 2023 Pledge Drive will finally begin!!! A table
will be set up to receive your generous donations. The highlight will be on
April 3 when we present our eagerly anticipated Annual Pledge Drive Skit!
The actors have been rehearsing for weeks.

Our Pledge Drive goal this year is $7,000. If everyone gives an amount that
is meaningful to them, we will reach that goal in no time. Another goal is
to have 100% participation from the Singers. Grant applications like
hearing that members are supporting their own organization.

As an added incentive, your donation will give you a chance to enter a
raffle where you can win one of many valuable prizes. There are gift cards
from Food Lion, Lowe's and Harris Teeter. There are coupons for a free
pizza from Papa Murphy's. You will even have a chance to win a bag of
groceries from Trader Joe's. But does it get more exciting than the
possibility of winning a $50 gift card from Goodberry's Custard? The Raffle
drawing will be held on 4/17/23 so you will want to make a donation before
then to get a chance to win.

You can give via check or cash at rehearsals. Or you can go to the Concert
Singers' website and donate there. If you do, be sure to tell Sue Chaploney
at schaploney at hotmail.com that you have donated so you, too, can be entered
into this exciting drawing!!!

Cary’s annual Spring Daze will be 9-5pm on Apr 29. I have created a
signupgenius for volunteers, please check it out and sign up if you
can! It’s a fun time advocating for an organization we all love, in
the shady trees at Bond Park. Maybe we can encourage a few passersby
to attend our concert THAT EVENING!
