Our fifth symphonic choir rehearsal of 2023 is on Monday Feb 27,
7:30-9:30pm at Greenwood Forest Baptist Church (110 SE Maynard Rd,
Cary). Thom will not be there, but our Hum Sub musicians will be!



Upcoming rehearsal order will be:

Feb. 27 and March 6: Basant Bahar only (with musicians)

March 13 and 20: Music of Light in the 90 minutes, Holst in the last 30 minutes

March 27 and Apr 3: Music of Light (with possibility of some
additional Holst reh being added)

Apr 10 on: Music of Light

It's really important we know who plans to sing at each concert. Juggling
three left this spring, it will greatly help Nathan, Thom and others if you
would please EACH OF YOU fill out this new survey, even if you aren't
singing with us currently! "Your Spring 2023 CSC Plans:" (with a comment

For SHANTI MANTRA and TARANA, here’s a suggestion for making it easier
to follow along. Make one copy of the page we sing for each page of
the song breakdown, then arrange your music so that you always have a
copy of the page we sing next to a page of the song breakdown, as you
page through it.

On the song breakdown pages, take note of the notations stating
‘mantra starts’, ‘flute’, ‘instrumental’, etc. That will help you
follow along.

For Tarana, note when we sing our part twice vs once.

That said, don’t sweat it, Nathan will direct us into our entrances :)
