Ngulu ya mabele ya zoba!

Our third symphonic choir rehearsal of 2023 is on Monday Feb 13,
7:30-9:30pm at Greenwood Forest Baptist Church (110 SE Maynard Rd,
Cary). Our able assistant conductor, Josh Johnstone, will be leading
this rehearsal.

Upcoming rehearsal order will be:

Feb. 13: Basant Bahar in the first hour, Music of Light in the second
(after the break)

Feb 20: Basant Bahar in the first hour, Music of Light and Holst in the second

Feb. 27 and March 6: Basant Bahar only

March 13 and onward: Music of Light with Holst at the end

You may stagger your coming/going as appropriate.

Regarding music costs, it’s the long-time CSC policy not to pro-rate
based on what you already have; otherwise our accounting is just too
onerous. Take Basant for an example: if you already have all 4 pieces,
you don’t need to pay the $5, but if you need even just one, you
should pay the five bucks. Similar to how we don’t pro-rate dues, if
you miss part (or a lot) of the year.

Tenor Phil Ferski worked hard to produce a really cool THICK notebook
with program printouts (based on scans made by bass Rock Angier), etc
from our inception in about 1991 until now! If you want to look it
over, he can haul it in to rehearsal occasionally, just let him know -
pferski at nc.rr.com and THANKS PHIL AND ROCK!
