Our second symphonic choir rehearsal of 2023 is on Feb 6, 7:30-9:30pm
at Greenwood Forest Baptist Church (110 SE Maynard Rd, Cary).

Note that THERE IS NO SYMPHONIC CHOIR REHEARSAL ON JAN 30! Sorry this

wants to thank everyone who attended the CSC volunteer fair last
Monday! We especially appreciate those who expressed interest in
supporting the activities of our committees. Our Board members and

-       $5 for the 3/12/23 ”Basant Bahar” with Hum Sub: classical
Indian art music

-       $28 for the 4/29/23 ‘Music of Light’: Amy Beach's ‘Canticle of
the Sun’ and Morten Lauridsen's ‘Lux Aeterna’

We haven’t much time to finalize our spring group Formal Fashions
concert attire order. You can familiarize yourself with our standard
wardrobe here:

You are welcome to order on your own, but if you want to save money on
shipping/handling, we put together a group order twice yearly. Plus,
the sizing on women’s clothing is a bit tricky. Terri Ring (our Alto
section leader) has helped fellow singers with this for years, she
says “tops (now $34) run small & skirts ($28) run large”. Cost for
both together is about $62 plus tax/S&H/extra charge for large items.

The HARD deadline to fill out the form: SUNDAY FEB 5. That is in 10

Men, if you need any tuxedo separates or accessories, you might find

FF also sells singers’ masks; the form accommodates. The dude abides.

Our first 2023 concert features the CSC Chamber Choir, and is on THIS

All CSC singers who paid dues this year (2022-23) are allowed a 50%
discount for this performance! You (and your family/friends that
accompany you [required] at the door) can pay by cash or check [no
credit cards]), $10 per adult ticket; no pre-sales or reservations
(but likely space won’t be a concern).

We have a fundraising event on Thursday Feb 2nd at Papa Murphy's Take
'N' Bake Pizza at the Cary locations. The fundraiser will last all day
(12-8pm), and to participate, members/family/friends just need to
mention that they're with the Concert Singers of Cary fundraiser
(online orders: use code GIVE33). We receive 33% of the order!
