Our second reh of the spring is Monday Feb 14 (Happy VD!), from
7:30-9:30pm at the Cary Arts Center theatre. We’ll rehearsal for 50
minutes, take a 20, then another 50…



Hear ye, hear ye! Our concert will be on Tues May 10 at 8pm at the
CAC! Yay! The mandatory final rehearsal is Mon May 9 at 7pm. Mark ye
calendar!


To help Nathan with the seating chart, we need a very good idea who is
planning to participate with us this spring. Can you please go here,
and look for your name. If you find it, and are NOT going to join us
this term, please let me (Thom) know – thomhaynes1 at gmail.com  If you
do NOT find it and ARE singing with us this spring, please let me
know!! (Mark yourself Yes even if you may end up only rehearsing, and
not singing in the concert.)

Mar 1 is the deadline to fill out the Booster vax form, and Mar 7 the
last day to show us your card (if you don’t upload a pic of it). If
you showed us your card at 1st reh, great, but we also still need you
to please fill out the form:

So far we’ve passed out two pieces of music: the Shearing one is yours
to keep, and the Vaughn Williams one we are borrowing, so don’t write
in it using a non-pencil. We’ll determine spring music cost later.

comprise the spring concert, I’ll add better links as I find them
(please suggest them if you come across any you like!).

If you looked HARD for your CSC nametag and can’t find it, or your
opossum chewed it up, let me know and I will make you a new one :)



Men, if you haven’t returned your red bowtie to me yet, please do so,
or wear it to each rehearsal until you do…

Sue Chaploney, of the CSC board fundraising committee, has an upcoming
request of you:



“Hello Fellow Singers, I hope everyone is doing well. Last Valentine's Day
we had a very successful Food Drive for Dorcas Ministries Food Pantry.
Valentine's Day is coming and it is a perfect time to give back to our
community and help those in need.



Please join the Concert Singers Board of Directors and contribute
non-perishable food and personal care items for the Dorcas Ministries Food
Pantry located in Cary. The attached flyer has a list of the most needed
items.



There are a few ways to give:



1) We will collect grocery items, checks made payable to Dorcas Food Pantry
and grocery store gift cards ($5, $10 or $20 denominations preferred) at
the Cary Arts Center parking lot (accessible from Faculty Avenue on the
right side of building) during the following days and times:



Saturday, February 19, from 10 am to 12 pm

Sunday, February 20, from 12 pm to 2 pm



You won't even need to get out of your car. Just open your trunk and we
will collect what you bring. (Please note that all volunteers will be
wearing masks and practicing social distancing throughout the event. Please
be prepared with your mask, too!)



2) Alternatively, a really easy and safe way to donate is on Amazon at this

3) You can also bring your donation to a rehearsal and I will collect it
then.
