First, a reminder that our initial spring rehearsal is scheduled for
Feb 7. If you are planning to participate this spring, please follow

Sue Chaploney, of the CSC board fundraising committee, has TWO
upcoming opportunities for you!



FIRST:

“Hi Everyone, it has been a long hard winter, Covid is still hanging around
and we all deserve a night off from cooking.  Therefore, I arranged another
fundraiser at Mellow Mushroom (4300 NW Cary Parkway, Cary) on this Wed
1/26/22 from 11am to 9pm.

Be sure to let them know this is in support of the Concert Singers of
Cary.  A receipt needs to be left in a jar at the front desk.  If ordering
online or curbside, let them know and a duplicate receipt will be generated
and placed in the jar.



Share this with everyone you know that it is time for pizza.  Thank you all
for participating!  See you soon.”




SECOND:

“Hello fellow singers, I hope everyone is doing well. Last Valentine's Day
we had a very successful Food Drive for Dorcas Ministries Food Pantry.
Valentine's Day is coming and it is a perfect time to give back to our
community and help those in need.



Please join the Concert Singers Board of Directors and contribute
non-perishable food and personal care items for the Dorcas Ministries Food
Pantry located in Cary. The attached flyer has a list of the most needed
items.



There are a few ways to give:



1) We will collect grocery items, checks made payable to Dorcas Food Pantry
and grocery store gift cards ($5, $10 or $20 denominations preferred) at
the Cary Arts Center parking lot (accessible from Faculty Avenue on the
right side of building) during the following days and times:



Saturday, February 19, from 10 am to 12 pm

Sunday, February 20, from 12 pm to 2 pm


You won't even need to get out of your car. Just open your trunk and we
will collect what you bring. (Please note that all volunteers will be
wearing masks and practicing social distancing throughout the event. Please
be prepared with your mask, too!)



2) Alternatively, a really easy and safe way to donate is on Amazon at this

3) You can also bring your donation to a rehearsal and I will collect it
then.



Members of the Board will present the donations to Dorcas on Monday,
