Concert Singers - huge congratulations for a wonderful performance on
Saturday. What a wonderful return to live performing, with great spirit and
fun, to a *socially distanced sold out* audience that was thrilled to be
there. Well done.

Congratulations, also, on navigating the first half of the season. We made
it! Thank you for your flexibility and diligence, which made it possible
for us to get back together. Overall, the thing that I am most pleased
about is that over these recent months we've (we've meaning the larger
collective of choirs all over) learned that if we follow the precautions
and are careful, we CAN meet and sing together safely. It works. And we'll
continue to safely refine and improve how we do it so it will be as close
to normal as it can be.

A few comments on what is next:

-At present, our first rehearsal after the holidays is scheduled for Jan.
24.
-We have a spring performance scheduled for March 26. That was scheduled
way back last spring, and as things have progressed, that might not be the
ideal date for us, as it is likely we will have just one concert this
spring. Please hold on to that date, but with the knowledge that we are
looking for ways we might move the concert back to April.
-The board is meeting later this week, and will be discussing our safety
protocols moving forward. We will update you as decisions are made, but
please know that, as in all things pandemic related, circumstances change
and we have to adapt. We are not able to guarantee any decisions made now
will be able to be applied when we return. As before, we will remain
flexible and adjust as conditions require.
