Concert Singers - I want to follow up on our message from yesterday.
We have not heard of any additional cases of COVID other than the one. Of
course, if you are concerned, we encourage you to get tested. If you have a
positive test, or if you have an exposure to a known case, please let Thom
know. The known case in our choir was first symptomatic on the 5th day
after rehearsal, which is right on the outside edge of the timeframe that
would have been a risk for being contagious at our rehearsal. So the risk
seems low for the choir, and especially since we would have known about any
additional cases by this point if there were any. But since it was on the
edge of the time frame, we needed to let you know, as per our protocols.
This situation further underscores how important it is to stay home if you
notice symptoms or don't feel well. The caution and good choice of the
singer in this case likely prevented what could have been a much worse
situation.
We will plan to proceed with our rehearsal and concert on Saturday. Stay
safe, and see you Saturday.
Nathan
