It’s almost December!!
We have one final final request of you re: Holiday Pops. I am creating
a couple short movies as part of the content. For one I will video
festive holiday scenes at night in downtown Cary. I will interview a
few passers-by and ask them “What do you most miss about life before
the pandemic?” and “What are you most grateful about?”.
I will also overlay in the video responses to the same questions from
YOU if you will upload a short audio file with your answers! For
example: "I MISS in-person choir practice and performances, street
festivals, and hugging my loved ones. I am GRATEFUL for health care
workers, truth-tellers, and takeout Chinese food." This will be MUCH
simpler than submitting an audio track of you singing! You will find
further instructions in the Submission Protocols document here:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1FsPKv1MBvXpEagoguSuEVwpRbtYEh4z8
Deadline is this Sat Dec 5!
BTW our Holiday Pops show will be live-streamed on both the CSC
YouTube channel AND the CSC Facebook page! Dec 12, 7:30pm. Here’s the
link to our YouTube channel:

The following are also still relevant. We haven’t received any kid drawings yet…
1) We are soliciting kids’ drawings with a holiday theme. They will
be used as background under the rolling lyrics for these sing-a-long
songs: Rudolph and Deck the Hall. They can be inspired by the song
subjects or the seasonal holidays in general. Deadline: this Fri Dec
4! Take a picture of the finished drawing - try to frame it well and
big, with good lighting and no shadows. Use this form to upload
pictures:

2) We are very excited to offer to you our fabulous CSC singers,
this chance to revisit (or visit for the first time) our 2019 Holiday
Pops! Personally it choked me up to see us all together again, singing
together... in front of a full house... please enjoy, but do not
distribute this link outside our membership.
