Hi all,



Wasn’t it lovely hearing Lisa’s recording of the “essential workers
pot-banging tribute from 7pm on her NYC fire escape” at the end of
last reh? So wonderful for her to join us and discuss the project.
Very exciting!!



We will rezoom with our next rehearsal on Monday Sept 28 from

We now have 27 sound files for the Brickyard parts, 10 of which will
be applicable for each of us! There are also several violin
accompaniment files you might find useful.



Rather than try and add them all to the Practice Files page, we are
providing all the needed Brickyard files now at this Google Drive

To access it you do not need a Gmail ID, but you may be required to
have a Google account. You may be asked to log in, and if necessary,
create an acct. You can use any email ID to register.



Let Thom know if you have trouble accessing the folder (reply to this
email). Be sure to listen to the practice guides before Mon’s reh!



At that link you will also find an updated “CSC Brickyard Broadcast
participant checklist”. The information on creating an avatar has been
added.

New Zoom tips:

-       Early in most rehs I will be setting up the breakout rooms –
unfortunately it looks like we have to do so during the mtgs. Don’t enter
the breakout rooms until we actually send you in…


-       You can turn your speaker volume up or down while we sing, to
adjust the piano or recording playback volume


-       If you are feeling clever, change your Zoom ‘video off’ image to
your avatar once you’ve created it :)


-       I love seeing some of you holding your pets! If you have a break
and yours wanders by, put ‘em on camera, we love it!


-       Please add ‘Here!’ to the group chat each week so we can keep track
of attendance


-       Type questions into the chat you’d like to ask (but can’t or prefer
not to ask verbally), and we’ll try and get to them later in the reh, or at
least afterwards
