Hi Everyone,


It was a great Concert Singers of Cary Raffle last evening that was held in
the parking deck in beautiful downtown Cary as the rain fell. If you didn't

Thom Haynes was the best Emcee ever with his skill at improv and that
terrific broadcaster's voice. Debi DeAnn we labeled our own “Vanna White”
as she did a superb job highlighting the prizes. And, Hadyn Boyte kept us
all safe with her 'interesting' distancing practices. If anyone has a
complaint about not winning a prize, please contact Nathan Leaf who, with a
choral conductor's trained movements, did a magnificent job drawing the
winning names. The Cinematographer Ric Goldstein was kept busy running from
one end to the other and everywhere in between trying to capture all the
action. We also had excellent stagehands: Deb Stirdivant and Al Pasquale
who provided great sound effects. Then there was me, Sue Chaploney, who
directed this lovely event mainly because I like telling people what to do
and how to do it.


It was so wonderful seeing everyone face-to-face yesterday, albeit 6 feet
apart. It will be equally as wonderful when we can all sing together again.


Thank you to the participants and donors. We had 59% member participation
and raised $9,840!!!
