[New_csc_newsline] Tonight's rehearsal

Concert Singers - I'm very much looking forward to our rehearsal tonight at
7:30. We will have musicians from Hum Sub with us. Not only will we do
Shanti Mantra but also, the soloists for Svaagat (Mythreyi and Sejal ji)
will be there, so we will do that as well. During the last part of the
rehearsal the chamber choir will work with the players, so it is likely the
symphonic choir will be done before 9:30. Thank you in advance for your
flexibility. A couple other things to please note:

-Seating will be different than usual, as we need to make a space for the
instrumentalists. There will be more chairs on the sides, and fewer in the
center. Please try to sit approximately in your sections, as best you can.

-We are a large group. As you are coming and going, please take care to not
bump or knock their instruments. It will be crowded, so we will just have
to be careful.

-The Indian musicians sit on the floor to perform. Please take care to not
walk on the rugs/carpets they bring to sit on. They do not walk on them
with their shoes either. The floor is dirty, they put the rugs down so they
don't sit on the dirty floor - walking on them with shoes makes them dirty.
115 people walking on them with shoes would be pretty gross. Please make an
extra effort to be sure you do not walk on the rugs. This will also help to
ensure we don't knock their instruments.
