Greetings Concert Singers – I am so looking forward to the start of the
season. As you know, in addition to the usual start-up activities, we will
also be making our plans for the Carnegie Hall performance in May. It
promises to be the performance of a lifetime. Spouses, partners, or others
are welcome to attend as well, as singing or non-singing participants. If
attending as a singing participants, please contact Nathan about an
auditioning.
We are now at a point where it is time to begin the registration process.
As a reminder, here is the link to the informational brochure:
http://midamerica-music.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/Mar-June-2020-1599-Full-Concert-Residency.pdf
You can note especially the pricing information on page 16. Below, in this
email, there is also additional detailed information.
*To register for the trip*, there are two steps that you need to take by
Sept. 25: 1, register, including the information listed below; and 2, make
the initial deposit of $300.
*TO REGISTER*
We will handle the registration in person at our rehearsals starting on
Monday, Sept. 9. When you register, you will need to know the following
information:
1. Names and voice parts of those you are registering.
2. Whether you are doing the FULL CONCERT RESIDENCY (hotel included, quad
occupancy) or the CONCERT ONLY RESIDENCY (you find your own hotel). This
must be decided at the time of the initial deposit and we are not allowed
to make changes.
3. If you are doing the Full Concert Residency, whether you are requesting
single, double, or triple room instead of quad (this has additional cost,
see the brochure, page 9).
*MAKE YOUR INITIAL DEPOSIT PAYMENT of $300*
All the payments go through the choir, and are submitted as one to
Mid-America Productions. Mid-America Productions will not accept payments
from individuals. There are 2 ways for you to make this payment.
1. Personal check, made payable to The Concert Singers of Cary, with
“Carnegie Hall” in the memo. It is preferred that checks be brought to
rehearsal. They can also be mailed to: Nathan Leaf; ATTN: Carnegie Hall;
8653 Harps Mill Rd, Raleigh, NC 27615. Mailed checks must be received by
Sept 25.
OR
2. Pay on the Concert Singers page via Pay Pal. This will incur a 3%
service fee, so the payment you make will be slightly more than $300.
We cannot register anyone for the trip unless we have both the registration
information and the deposit payment. The deposits are not refundable, with
one exception. If we do not have the minimum number of people by the
deposit deadline and the trip is cancelled for that reason, we will not
send in the money and your deposit (minus any Pay Pal fees) will be
returned to you.
Again, here are the details for the two residency options (more detailed
information is in the brochure).
