"Dear Concert Singers – Congratulation on the conclusion of a great season.
The performance on Sunday was quite wonderful. I hope you enjoyed it.
Maestro Muti was very pleased, and all in all, the concert was very
successful. In particular, I am glad that so many were able to participate,
some for the first time with Chamber Orchestra of the Triangle.



It’s worth taking a few minutes to recall the entire season: Bluegrass Mass
in October; a full house for Holiday Pops with Bill Adams, the brass, and
the jazz combo; Messiah in Apex; a bunch of great songs from the Great
American Songbook; a short run-out with Cary Youth Voices; and Mendelssohn
and Debussy to wrap it all up. I am so very appreciative of your time and
effort, and mostly of how you give yourselves to this wide variety of
music. Thank you! It is a real pleasure to make music with you.



And now, a break for the summer and then onward to next year. Plans are
well underway. The full season is still being developed and will be
announced in the coming weeks, but here are some of the highlights:

*VIDEO GAMES LIVE*: October 5, 2019 with North Carolina Symphony (32
singers)



*MUSIC OF LIGHT:* October 26, 2019, featuring Lauridsen’s LUX AETERNA



*HOLIDAY POPS: *December 14, 2019



*MESSIAH WITH CHAMBER CHOIR*: Date still TBD



CONCERT COLLABORATION WITH HUM SUB: March, 2020



MOZART SOLEMN VESPERS DISCOVERY CONCERT: Early May 2020



CARNEGIE HALL PERFORMANCE: May 20-24, 2020



More details about the Carnegie Hall trip will be coming in the next weeks.
The initial deposit/registration deadline is October 1.
