Our next rehearsal is Mon Mar 25, 7:30-9:30pm at the CAC Marcus Dry
room. Debussy at 7:30; CYV at 8:10; Mendelssohn at 8:40.

Mendelssohn: 3 new links are on the practice files page for 1) notes,
2) pronunciation (thanks Pauline Jillson*)*, and 3) translation.
You’ll also find links to youtube videos for parts. AND attached are 4
‘markings’ files. AND THAT’S NOT ALL, if you call within the next 5
minutes I have also attached an updated seating chart!


Message from Nathan: "Mendelssohn singers - please be sure to have the
markings in your music before our next rehearsal. For both Mendelssohn
and Debussy, the most important thing to practice before the next
rehearsal is your French or German pronunciation. Listen and repeat
multiple times. Use the pause button, so you can listen to short
phrases/a few words at a time, and then repeat them. Just listening
isn't enough, you will need to physically make the sounds yourself to
really learn the pronunciation well. You might also use your phone to
record yourself saying the text and then compare your pronunciation to
the one provided. It is a great way to figure out which sounds you are
doing correctly and which not."
