Choir - my apologies for filling up your inboxes this week - there is one
more thing I need to ask you about. As many of the returning members know,
for the holiday pops concert we often use some music that we have used in
previous years. In an effort to prevent me from ordering many extra copies
of music that we don't need, can you please check to see if you have copies
of the following pieces. Be sure that you check not only the title, but
also the composer and/or arranger. You do not need to reply to this email,
but if you can come to rehearsal on Monday with a general idea of what
pieces you do or do not have, that will help me order *closer* to the right
number of copies and save us all some money.
Somewhere in My Memory, from Home Alone, by John Williams
Mid-Winter, by Bob Chilcott (we sang this last year)
Jingle, Bells, arr. David Willcocks
White Christmas, Berlin arr. Ringwald (also done last year)
Hallelujah, from Messiah: A Soulful Celebration, Handel, arr. Warren,
Jackson, and Kibble
Thanks all - remember, if it is same title but different arranger it is an
entirely different piece and it is not usable for our concert purposes this
year and you will need a copy of new version.
