The presence of a larger group has persuaded me to use a video tutorial by an outstanding Canadian theory teacher named Gary Ewer. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>There are 24 total sessions in the full curriculum. My plan is to present Chapters 1-6 at the first session and 7-12 at the second. Each video chapter is 3-6 minutes long. I will stop between each chapter to discuss and to give you the opportunity to do a work sheet. I am hopeful that we will be able to have this video program reside in the Membership area on our website for you to access for review or to move beyond lesson 12 on your own. In the meantime, I would like you to refer to the attached workbook to print your worksheets for tomorrow’s class. For Lessons 1-6 we will need through page 55. When you open the PDF, set your printer to print pages 5-57. (The page numbers on the PDF do not match the page number on the document). <b>Please note: <u>The PDF is 524 pages long so make sure that your page settings are correct before you hit “print”.<o:p></o:p></u></b></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>I look forward to having the time to work on the nuts and bolts of music notation!<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Sincerely,<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Larry<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><b><span style='font-size:8.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:#984806'>Lawrence Speakman<o:p></o:p></span></b></p><p class=MsoNormal><b><span style='font-size:8.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:#984806'>Artistic Director and Conductor</span></b><span style='font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:#984806'><o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:8.0pt;font-family:"Tahoma","sans-serif";color:#984806'><img width=121 height=122 id="Picture_x0020_1" src="cid:image001.jpg@01CF6D35.FDE17820" alt="CSC_final_logo"></span><span style='color:#1F497D'><o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><b><span style='font-size:8.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:#984806'>The Concert Singers of Cary<o:p></o:p></span></b></p><p class=MsoNormal><b><span style='font-size:8.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:#984806'><a href="http://www.concertsingers.org"><span style='color:blue'>www.concertsingers.org</span></a><o:p></o:p></span></b></p><p class=MsoNormal><b><span style='font-size:8.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:#984806'><a href="http://www.speakmanvocalarts.com"><span style='color:blue'>www.speakmanvocalarts.com</span></a><o:p></o:p></span></b></p><p class=MsoNormal><b><span style='font-size:8.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:#984806'>919-249-6421<o:p></o:p></span></b></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p></div></body></html>
