Your singing was beautiful and heartfelt, a good characteristic to have for a concert featuring love songs. There was great singing throughout the evening, but I thought I’d share a few of the highlights.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Your work in the third set was first rate with “If Music Be the Food of Love” and “In the Night We Shall Go In” coming off wonderfully. “Mood Indigo” was the highlight of the first half for me. Your singing was spot on and Allen, Jenn and Julia were superb. I was very pleased with your work on Jacob Groff’s piece, especially given the fact that we did not touch it in the warm up. Jacob was very pleased with your work and sent me a nice note that asked me to express that to you. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>While I will see many of you for the Theory Class the next two Monday’s, I want to wish you all a good and restful summer. We didn’t have much of a break last summer and I think that it is good we have downtime now to rest, play and recharge.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>I want to thank everyone, each and every one of you for all that you do to make The Concert Singers of Cary the respected institution that it has become.
