<div><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;font-size:small">Citizens are invited to a public meeting at 6 p.m. on March 12 at Cary Town Council Chambers, 316 N. Academy Street, as staff presents an update on the downtown park and support facilities slated to be developed across from the Cary Arts Center. Staff will share information from the latest downtown park charette; following the presentation, attendees are encouraged to provide feedback to help staff reach the final stages of design. Funding for the project was approved by Cary voters in 2012 as part of the Community Investment Bonds referendum and construction is anticipated to begin in 2015.
