The concert is titled <i>Sing, Play in May with a Celtic Ring</i>. The children will be joined by Joined by Nashville, TN artist Melissa Du Puy.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal style='line-height:150%;text-autospace:none'>Melissa Du Puy, a native of Greenville, SC, is a multi-instrumentalist with a background in classical music from Furman University and holds a Masters in Appalachian Music from Appalachian State. She plays guitar, both acoustic and electric, banjo, mandolin, bass, keys, and an assortment of traditional instruments, including dulcimer, bowed psaltery, and bodhran. Melissa has performed onstage with artists including Steve Earle, John Hartford, The Indigo Girls, The Nashville Symphony, Bill Monroe, Doc Watson and the Chieftains. As a recording engineer and studio musician she has played on or engineered projects for clients such as BMG, Curb Records, RCA Nashville, MCA Records, Capitol Records, Rounder Records, Sony/ATV Music, The Nashville Network, and CMT. She is also an Artist in Residence with the Tennessee Arts Commission.
