Dear Symphonic Choir,
I am writing to say “thank you” for your outstanding work yesterday at the Holiday Pops performance! It was a wonderfully successful event, with a near sellout crowd and a fabulous performance on stage. Bravo to all of you for a great afternoon! Many thanks to Kristy Burns for her beautiful rendition of “Happy Christmas, Little Friend” and to Terry Blalock and the Moonlighters Orchestra for their consistently outstanding work. It is a joy to work with all of you to present a program that gives us so much joy during the busy Holiday season.
I also want to remind you: the Symphonic Choir is on break until we resume our work on the January concert, so there is norehearsal tonight for Symphonic Choir members. Our first rehearsal after the first of the year will be on Monday, January 4th, from 7:30 - 9:30 in Marcus Dry at the CAC.
If you are able, please join us for our appearance at the Halle Cultural Arts Center this Saturday at 7:30 for part 1 of Messiah, performed with 10 instrumentalists from the North Carolina Baroque Orchestra, playing period instruments. Tickets can be purchased at http://www.etix.com/ticket/p/3245531/concert-singers-of-cary-present-handels-messiah-part-i-apex-halle-cultural-arts-center <http://www.etix.com/ticket/p/3245531/concert-singers-of-cary-present-handels-messiah-part-i-apex-halle-cultural-arts-center> or at the door.
If we don’t see you before the January rehearsal, Ingrid and I would like to wish you a very Happy Holiday season!
Sincerely,
Larry
