[csc_newsline] Concert Singers January 2015 Gala

Hi singers - your Board knows that we ask a lot from you that goes beyond
donating your time to sing.  If you've looked at the charts we post outside
our rehearsal room, you'll see that the Gala is our 3rd largest source of
funds and we'd like to ask you to help with this in a way that won't cost
you money - just a little bit of time.  The success of the Gala comes from
the corporate sponsored tables and the auction items.  We're hoping you can
help with getting auction items donated.  Think about the places you
frequent and maybe stop in or call them - we're finding people to be quite
generous already and with your help we can meet our goals!  This year's Gala
is at MacGregor Country Club on Sunday January 25.  Sue Chaploney (Soprano
2) has graciously offered to head up the auction function again so please
see her if you have questions.  I've attached a form that we will need on
any item/service donated.  I've listed below some items that we know will
sell and hope you can help us with this.  Thank you so very much for your
support and help on this!

 

Gift certificates to restaurants, bakeries, specialty food shops, etc

Jewelry

Beach house/condo for a week or weekend

SPA gift cards

Symphony tickets

Chocolate gift baskets

Wine and candy gift baskets

Theater tickets

Sports Event tickets

Silk Flower arrangement

Retain shop certificates - hoping someone might want to contact many of the
neat shops at Cameron Village
