Dear Singers,

 

The location for the Cary Invasion basketball game and National Anthem is
The Herb Young Community Center gym. Sorry for the omission. Concert dress
has not been decided yet but it will not be our normal outfits. It will be
dressy casual of some sort. We'll know more soon.

Subject: Singers Needed

 

Dear Singers,

 

I hope that you have had some nice down time over the last month and are
finding fun and refreshing things to do. I am writing to invite you to
participate in the singing of the National Anthem prior to The Cary Invasion
basketball game on Saturday, June 21st at 6:00 PM. The Cary Invasion will
play the (Durham) Bull City Legacy for the Tobacco Road League's Eastern
Division Championship. The Police Department has been asked to present the
colors. General manager Doc Thorne has said "I'd like to invite your group
to perform the National Anthem during this presentation..I am inviting as
many of your choral group as can attend because, well, the more of your
singers who attend the bigger the show. Of course, any who choose to come
may also stay for the game if they wish. Your arrival time would be 6PM."

 

Since we need to move quickly, I am asking you to respond at the following
link:  https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/JJ66R9L  This is one of my famous 15
second surveys and will let me know who can or cannot participate. Should
you be able to participate, I have attached a copy of the four part
arrangement that we will use for you to bring with you. There is also a
sound link for you to rehearse your part.

I would love for us to have the full Symphonic Choir present for this event.
I realize that this is a heavy travel month but if you're here, it should be
a lot of fun!
