[csc_newsline] Fwd: Follow-up to last Monday's Pledge Campaign Presentation

Dear Singers,

* *

*Thank you for your attention* to Monday night’s initial presentation of
the Singers’ Pledge Campaign. During the few weeks of this year’s campaign,
*please take a minute or two* to look at an occasional reminder about the
goals and the significance of our efforts.



*A few key points:*

*1.  **Your most important contribution, by far, is that of your time,
talent and commitment!*

* *

*2.  *That said, *CSC cannot exist* without financial contributions. See
attached pie charts.



*3.  *Our ability to obtain funding *from other sources is greatly
enhanced*the more we are able to show that we are willing to help each
other with
voluntary donations. Demonstration of this willingness from a *good
percentage of our singers*, regardless of the dollar amount is key.



So, *please consider this reminder* to consider helping again with a pledge
of whatever amount you choose. You can do so by filling out a pledge form
from Monday night (or printing out one attached here) and mailing it in or
placing it in the pledge box at rehearsal next week or by making a donation
online.



Remember:

1.     The names of those who pledge by October 23 will be *listed in the
annual concert program*. YOUR PLEDGE IS A PROMISE TO DONATE AND DOES NOT
NEED TO BE FULFILLED *UNTIL JUNE 30, 2014* FOR YOU AND YOUR SECTION TO
RECEIVE CREDIT AND A LISTING NOW.

2.    We will track and graph the *percentage* of those pledging per
section (SATB). The names of *all *members of section with the cumulative
leading *percentage* each week will be placed in a live drawing for pair of
Meymandi Concert Hall *BOX SEAT TICKETS *to the (remaining) *concert of
your choice* from the *Raleigh Saturday Night Classical Series of the NC
Symphony*.



Please review the attached *pdf files of pie charts of our annual income
sources and expenses to remember *where our pledge campaign contributions
fit in and how they contribute to *our ongoing ability to keep the music
going*!
