[csc_newsline] GERSHWIN CONCERT - Choral Notes

Please be sure to read to the very end!


*1.  Eight ticket collectors needed for Gershwin Concert night*
**

   - 5:00pm - 6:30pm shift. Four (4) adults needed to collect tickets at
   the entrance and hand out programs. This will entitle you to a free ticket
   to the performance. Volunteers do not need to be members of CSC.  Larry
   will meet you at the box office with the programs and answer any questions.
   - 6:30pm - 8:00pm shift. Four (4) adults needed to collect tickets at
   the entrance and hand out programs. This will entitle you to a free ticket
   to the performance. Volunteers do not need to be members of CSC. Previous
   shift will handover programs and pass on any instructions from Larry.

Please e-mail me, a.s.a.p.,  if you or someone you know are available to
fill one or both slots.
**
*2.  Show up for the concert, rain or shine*
**
There are no plans to cancel this concert even if it is drizzling come show
time.

*3. No folders for the Gershwin performance*
**
We will NOT be using folders of any kind for this performance.

*4.  Women's Chorus*
**
Yes. Women's Chorus *WILL* be using the black folders for the Women's
Chorus part of the concert* ONLY*.


*5. We are on SEATED risers*
**
Do *NOT* bring an extra stool or chair.

*6.  Rehearsal and performance times*
**

   - rehearsal: 1:45pm - on stage for seat assignments; 2:00pm - 4:30 - on
   stage ready to sing.
   - performance: 7:00pm - lined up, in place, behind the amphitheatre.

*7.  Monday, May 13th, 7:30pm at CAC in Marcus Dry - everyone!*
**

   - Rehearsal begins for June 27-28th, Sci-Fi and the July 6th Summerfest
   Concerts.
   - All Gershwin music must be returned with notations erased.
