*A Message To Friends of Brian Wong from Brian: *

*Concert Singers friends,
Vickie had surgery to remove a breast cancer today.  The surgeon is
optimistic that it was caught early, the tumor was removed and the margins
were clear.  The lymph nodes did not appear to be involved.  Vickie will
next have to see if further tamoxifen or chemo will be necessary.
She is staying overnight at the hospital, and I will pick her up tomorrow
am.
Being a couple of years removed from the group, now, please let those whom
Vickie may have sung with know.

*Subject: Update

Vickie is back home, and feeling upbeat.  She had a delay when she reacted
poorly to Oxycontin for post-op pain, so she stayed last night at the
hospital.  She switched to ibuprofen, and felt much better.  Her appetite is
coming back and she is anxious to get back to the garden. Fortunately it
rained today, so it forced her to stay in.

We certainly miss singing with the CSC.
