** *I just wanted to let all of you know how exciting it was for me to have
you back for our first rehearsal this past week. I am very pleased with
what we were able to accomplish on our first night together. We are in for
an exciting year filled with the wonderful and collaborative art of music
making. *

*Do you have this music?*
**
In order to be able to add two pieces of music for our Fall concerts and to
make sure everyone has these pieces without ordering more than necessary,
we need to have an accurate count of how many we still need to purchase.
Please check and see if you have either or both of the following:

   - For the November concert: "Light of a Clear Blue Morning" - by Dolly
   Parton, arr. by Craig Hella Johnson. Last performed by us in May of 2012.
   - For the Holiday concert: "Christmas Song" - arr. by Audrey Snyder.
   Last performed by us with the Triangle Wind Ensemble apprx. 4-5 yrs. ago.

answering "yes" or "no" to the two questions.

** *REMINDER*
**
This Monday night rehearsal: *MEN*: begin at 7:00 - end at 8:15. *WOMEN*:
begin at 8:15 - end at 9:45.

*Please note the items on the table:*
**

   - The Concert Singers of Cary season brochures: take as many as you like
   and pass them on to people you know.
   - The Development Committee handouts - please take one and read it if
   you did not get one on First Night.
   - Sign up sheets: if you are interested in purchasing either a new logo
   Concert Singers of Cary bag ($12) or a CSC T-shirt ($8) - payment due when
   item arrives.
   - Name tags.
   - One freebie, "Common Music Terms".

If you have anything you would like the chorus to know about ie: an
upcoming personal event, an item to sell, an item to give away,etc., please
feel free to put an announcement on the table. We are unable to use the CSC
mailing list for messages other than those dealing with CAC
business agendas.



*Bags or music not picked up*

Please see Emiko if you did not pick up your pre-ordered bag or music last
Monday.


*Basses - new section leader*
**
Tony Calabrese tonyc1946 at gmail.com is taking over as Bass section leader
for David Britt. Sorry to say, David will not be able to sing with us this
year - hopefully next year. A sincere "Thank you" to both Tony and David.


*Anyone who has not yet paid for their music or dues*
**
Our treasurer, Jill Ruvidich, will be at rehearsal on Monday at 8:15pm to
collect the remaining outstanding fees.
