*Choral Notes for the week of 10/08*

*Sopranos/Altos*
**
The women's new concert dress top arrived and looks even better than we had
hoped. The skirt, *if* you want/need to buy one, is also exactly as
promised. Both will be on display at rehearsal. For tomorrow, Monday,
October 8th, please have the following for Terri or me at the break:

   - your waist and chest measurements in inches for the top - we can
   measure you if you'd rather. It is very important that you measure
   accurately as the tops are ordered by these measurements; err on the large
   size to ensure a comfortable fit (if your chest measurement is
   42" or more and/or your waist measurement  40" or more, then there is a $5
   additional cost = $35 total for the top)
   - your waist and hip measurements IF you are ordering a skirt as well
   (if your waist measurement is 37"or more and/or your hip measurement is 51"
   or more, then there is a $5 additional cost = $33 total for the skirt)  -
   we will be getting a 10% discount if we order more than 20 sets = top &
   skirt
   - a check for $30 (add $5 if necessary due to size) made out to The
   Concert Singers of Cary if you are *only ordering the top* (this
   includes tax and shipping)
   - a check for $58 (add $5 or $10 if necessary due to size) made out to
   The Concert Singers of Cary if you are* ordering both* the top and the
   skirt (this includes tax and shipping)

If you are not able to be at rehearsal, PLEASE send me your measurements as
we have to place the order by Tuesday to ensure we have the tops and
skirts by November's concert. A tremendous amount of work and time has been
going into promoting this upcoming concert which is one of the reasons we
are anxious to have the group look its best. In addition, the new time slot
could mean a packed house.

If you are NOT singing the November concert, please send me your
measurements and a check as well since this will be the concert dress for
future concerts. The check can be sent to: Ingrid Speakman, 510 Warlick
Green Lane, Cary, 27519.

Thank you all for your understanding and willingness to go along with this
on such short notice; the notice was shorter than we would have liked, but
could not be helped....trust me on this one!


*A Reminder:  please do not wear scented products, perfume or colognes to
rehearsal! We are in very close quarters and people with alergies are
having a very tough time breathing much less singing!*

*Season ticket sales*
**
Season tickets can be bought up until the first performance! Our goal is to
sell 150 tickets; todate we have sold 20. Please spread the word!

The deadline to reserve an advertising space in the programs has been
extended to October 15th. Suggestions for advertising sources to contact:
real estate co., banks, garden centers, moving services, private small
businesses, car dealerships/services, hair salons. All you need to do is
