*Dear Chorus,*

*A heartfelt "Thank you" for your very generous gift. I love what I do
Monday evenings and from the generosity of your gift to the kind words from
many of you, I think we are on the same page.  For those of you who were
able to attend our End of Season Luncheon, I want you to know that I
thoroughly enjoyed myself being able to mingle amongst you as just another
party goer instead of standing in front of everyone as the Task Master! For
those of you who were not able to be there......I hope you will be able to
join us next year.*

*Miscellaneous: Pins, bags, folders, and a hat*
**

   - Pins - if this was at least your second year as a Concert Singer and
   you did not receive your pin for this year, we will have pins available the
   first rehearsal in September.
   - *Bags* - if you did not receive your "first year" as a CSC member bag,
   or have never received a bag, please let me know at
MMingridnc at gmail.comas we will be ordering bags to be handed out at
the first rehearsal in
   September. These bags will have our current logo on them. If you would like
   a new bag with the new logo, there will be a $10.00 charge.
   - *Black folders -* we have a limited number of black folders (2
   sizes) available for sale (3.00-5.00) which will also be available at the
   first rehearsal.
   - A blue and white cap - was left behind at the luncheon; can be
   collected from the storage unit in the CAC (ask the front desk for the key)


*August audition schedule*
**
The August audition schedule is up on the website for anyone new who would
be interested in auditioning for CSC or if you want to audition for Chorale
or Chamber. NO re-auditions are required at this time for any of the
current choruses.


*Women's Concert Dress Apparel - on probation for next season*
**
Women's concert dress guidelines are still not being met by everyone.
Please familiarize yourselves with the guidelines as posted on the website;
we don't want to have to go to a standard uniform dress for all. (In
basketball, when asked to wear a basketball uniform it doesn't occur to
anyone to show up in football gear [?])


*End of Season Luncheon at Matthews House*
**
The weather was gorgeous, the food was very good, the open bar was kept
very busy and the company was outstanding! A good time seemed to be had by
all (please let me know if that was not the case and/or if you have photos
to share!) The consensus was that we should do this every year. Again, if
you have any comments (+ or -), please let me know.


On with summer!!
