CHORAL NOTES - week beginning 2/27

Ingrid is in Germany so I am forwarding this week's Choral Notes.

 

The Symphonic Choir will resume rehearsals on Monday, March 19th at our
usual time of 7:30 - 9:30 in the Marcus Dry room at the Cary Arts Center. It
will be great to have our flagship chorus in rehearsals again! We have an
exciting program planned for our May 11th concert that will feature
multicultural music that spans the globe. 

 

Music Packet for May 11th Symphonic Choir Concert

 

The music packet for the May 11th concert contains an extensive collection
of single copy works with an average price of $1.90 each, making the cost
$36 per packet including shipping. In order to keep costs as low as possible
we are offering the packet for $29 IF you order through with this link
http://tinyurl.com/preorder-03052012 BY MONDAY, MARCH 5th. This will enable
us to order from a discount distributor far enough in advance that we can
pass the discount along to you. It you would rather wait until registration
to purchase your packet you may do so for the full price of $35.

 

All packets will be distributed at the first rehearsal on March 19th. As
always, please see Ingrid or financial secretary Katy O'Brien if you need to
discuss a payment plan.

 

 

End of Season Luncheon - update

 

The End of Season Concert Singers of Cary Luncheon menu:

*	Complimentary glass of Champagne (a "Thank-you!" from Larry)
*	Beef carving station with sauces and breads
*	Fresh fruit and cheeses
*	Chicken salad croissants
*	Fresh garden salad
*	Loaded pasta salad
*	"End of Season" celebratory cake
*	Ice teas and water
*	Cash bar

  The cost per person for the luncheon is $25 IF we can guarantee 125
reservations or $26.75 if we can guarantee 100 reservations.

The date is for May 20th from 1:30 to 3:30pm - adults only - at The Matthews
House here in Cary.

 

A beautiful Spring afternoon with friends is guaranteed for all (we are
under cover, no problems with a possible rain shower!)
