[csc_newsline] ACTION REQUIRED: Earthsongs Audience

Have you heard the story about the traveling acting troupe that barnstormed
through the MIdwest in the1930s?  Before one performance one of the actors
was "sizing" the audience through a peephole in the curtain.  When another
actor asked how things looked, he replied "Well, there are people out
there.  But we are still in the majority!"

Want to make sure we DON'T say this at CSC's "Earthsongs: World Music"
concert?  Then help us build our audience by promoting the event with
friends and family. * Your personal invitation is the most effective
marketing CSC has, and can help us fill the house on May 11th. *

Any word of mouth advertising you can do will help: LIKE phone a friend,
send some emails, share the "event' from the CSC Facebook page,
even--OMG--invite someone in person!  Here are all the details you need:

"Earthsongs: World Music" features music from countries across the globe,
as well as selections in Yiddish and the Appalachian and Bluegrass
traditions.  There is also a free pre-concert lecture open to all
ticketholders.  The concert takes place on May 11 at the Cary Arts Center
at 101 Dry Street.  The performance begins at 8:00 pm with the pre-concert
lecture at 7:30pm.  Tickets are $15 ($5 for kids 12 and under), and can be
purchased at the door or at http://concertsingers.org/

In addition to building the audience for this great concert and earning
accolades from your friends who attend, you'll be improving CSC's financial
status. That's a win-win-win in my book!
