*A Message from Larry:*



*I am very pleased to see how focused and conscientious the majority of you
are during rehearsals; we are off to a good start with the Pops music!
Please, keep in mind that we are a large group in a very confined space with
an unfortunately loud ventilation system - I am hearing the talking, while
trying to rehearse, increasing steadily; this is very distracting not only
to me, but also to the singers who are trying to concentrate on their music.
Please make your missed music markings before rehearsal and wait until break
or after rehearsal to share other thoughts with your neighbors. Thank you
all for your hard work!*

*More music has arrived**:*

Four more pieces of music for the *Heart of Cary Holidays* program have
arrived and will be distributed Monday evening. To date, the last two
remaining pieces are still on backorder. Pieces to be distributed on Monday:

·         Christmas Pudding

·         Chanukah Traditions (S’vivon)

*Music Updates:***



For the *Holiday Pops with The North Carolina Symphony** *(the *Christmas
Sing-along* will be supplied to us by the Symphony), you should now have:

   - Hark the Herald Angels Sing - Arthur Harris
   - Shepherd's Pipe Carol - John Rutter
   - *(Christmas Sing-along)*
   - Angels We Have Heard on High - Jeff Kern
   - The Gathering - Laurelyn Dossett/arr. Aaron Grad
   - Amen Chorus - from *Messiah,* Handel
   - On this Christmas Day - Joe Newberry/arr. Ted Erhardt
   - Hallelujah Chorus - from *Messiah,* Handel

For the *Heart of Cary Holidays,* as of Monday, 31st, you should have:

·         Hope For Resolution

·         Go Where I Send Thee

·         Christmas Pudding

·         Chanukah Traditions (S’vivon)

·         Jingle Bells – *may still be on back order*

·         Peace, Peace – *may still be on back order*

·         Shepherd’s Pipe Carol (from Holiday Pops)

·         Handel: Hallelujah Chorus (keep in your folder should an encore be
requested)

*Seating chart:*

Assigning seats for the seating chart has been delayed due to the
uncertainty about the exact numbers of singers participating in the Holiday
Pops NC Symphony concert. *If you are NOT singing the Holiday Pops NC
Symphony concert OR have missed the last three rehearsals, then you should
NOT be at rehearsals until after this seasons’ two performances. Please
notify your section leader if either of these situations apply to you. *Once
Larry has the exact numbers and has some logistics resolved concerning the
Heart of Cary Holidays, he will hand out a seating chart, with seats
assigned by name, to the section leaders.

Please notify your section leaders directly as soon as possible if you know
you are going to miss a rehearsal or performance. Section leaders and their
