*Choral Notes for the week of 11/28*
**
*A Message from Larry:*
**
*Thank you again for a wonderfully successful weekend of performances!! The
concerts were outstanding and clearly indicative of a group that is
"focused and attentive to detail". Following the last performance, I was
able to spend time with Grant and the rest of The Gathering performers.
Grant sincerely thanked us for our outstanding work and specifically
mentioned how much he appreciated the chorus's responsiveness. Laurelyn
Dossett also expressed her heartfelt thanks to us for making her project a
reality. On a more personal note she commented on how touched she was by
how "sweet" and "grateful" so many of the chorus members were to her who
came up to buy her CD - she felt that it she who was thankful to us. Aaron
Grad also asked me to tell you that your beautiful singing was crucial to
making his orchestration concept work. Riannon tracked me down to say how
great she thought you were and Joe Newberry said that having you sing with
him on his piece was "an honor". All your hard work definitely paid off!!*

*Thank you all!*

*Volunteers still needed for December 10th?*
**
Please see Jenn Meyers per her announcement at our last performance.

*A New CSC Tradition is to be inaugurated on May 20th, 2012*

We are in the process of setting up an "End of the Season Celebratory
Luncheon" for the chorus and their spouses, significant other, partner or
guest (sorry, no children). Venue will be The Matthews House (
www.matthews-house.com) Luncheon will be a hot/cold buffet, cash bar,
complimentary glass of champagne (a"thank-you" from Larry), cost
$25/person. There will be awards given, a speech full of glowing praises
from Larry, great food, stellar company and time to enjoy and relax in
beautiful surroundings - it will be Spring and the garden will be in full
bloom (so I was told). More details to come (exact time, specific foods,
etc.) Please mark your calendars now!!

See you at rehearsal!
