[csc_newsline] Monday 5/23 rehearsal canceled and other information

Dear Symphonic Choir,

 

I'm writing with additional information about logistics for our American
Celebration concert at Koka Booth.

 

.         We WILL NOT rehearse this Monday, May 23rd

.         We WILL rehearse as scheduled this Tuesday, May 24th at the Durham
School for the Arts IN THE AUDITORIUM from 7:30 - 9:30. We received the
following instructions from the school office

 

"There is an additional DSA parking lot at the corner of Duke Street and
Trinity Ave that we should use. Anyone that parks there will have to walk a
block to the front entrance to Weaver Auditorium. 

There are over a hundred parking spaces in the faculty and visitor parking
(where we usually park). Please encourage everyone, choir and band, to enter
the auditorium by way of the front entrance facing Duke Street. There is a
handicap ramp just to the right of the auditorium for anyone that needs it.
But, they will need to be able to navigate the four steps at the front of
the stage."

 

.         Further information about logistics at Koka Booth on the day of
the concert will come in a follow up email as soon as we have it.
